We’re Patrick Samuel and Hakon X, two musicians who also happen to be visual artists. Music has always been at the heart of what we do, but it’s our shared passion for pushing creative boundaries that brought us together. With roots that stretch from India to Germany, we blend our backgrounds into something that feels both familiar and new.
Our music, like us, is a fusion—electric guitars and bass, for example, meet sitar and santoor, creating a sound that’s rich and layered. You’ll hear this mix in our debut single, A Kiss in the Shadows.
We’re really excited about what’s coming next. By the end of 2025, we’ll have three albums out there. Our first, FIRE + RAIN, is a deep dive into dark rock. After that, Phantom Limbs will bring the raw edge of post-punk. And finally, Voodoo is where we get to explore everything from blues to rockabilly, with a little Americana and doo-wop thrown in.
This is just the beginning, and we’re glad to have you with us. \ Full bio
Out now
FIRE + RAIN is our 15-track journey that came to life through a blend of our musical worlds. It’s dark rock at its core, but what makes it special is the way we’ve woven in the sounds of the East. You’ll hear electric guitars and deep basslines meshing with the sitar’s shimmering tones and the hypnotic pulse of the santoor.
The rhythm section reflects that same fusion—big, heavy kick drums meet tablas, creating something dynamic and unexpected. Some tracks are raw and perfect for late-night, club-style energy, while others feel more introspective.
Patrick’s baritone vocals push the emotional boundaries, and alongside that, we’ve added touches of Carnatic vocalizations, giving the music an almost otherworldly quality. It’s grounded and atmospheric all at once, and we can’t wait for you to experience it.
